General questions

Who are you, and who actually does the legal work?

Aman Law is a legal platform managed from Switzerland. The legal work itself is carried out by specialist lawyers inside Syria, each in their own field, while the file is managed and followed up from Zürich through a clear, documented process.

Can I use the service while living outside Syria?

Yes — the service is built for people living outside Syria. Consultations are held remotely, and the matter is followed before Syrian courts and authorities by an appointed lawyer, so you do not need to travel.

Which areas of law do you cover?

Nine departments: civil and commercial law, personal status and family law, criminal law, real estate and property, labour and employment, administrative law, commercial law, property law and tax law.

Which languages can I use to contact you?

Arabic or English, either through the form on this site or on WhatsApp.

Are the details of my case kept confidential?

Yes. Professional confidentiality is part of how we work, and the details of a file are seen only by the legal team handling it.

Powers of attorney & representation

How do I appoint a lawyer in Syria from abroad?

This is usually done through a power of attorney drawn up and authenticated at the Syrian consulate or embassy in your country of residence, or before a local notary with the required attestations. Once we have reviewed your case we set out the wording you need and the authentication steps that apply where you live.

Will you represent me before Syrian courts?

Yes. A specialist lawyer represents you before Syrian courts and judicial departments under a valid power of attorney, and keeps you informed as the file moves.

Can you handle a property case or an inheritance matter for me?

Yes. Real estate and property, and personal status and inheritance, are among the departments we cover, and they are handled under a power of attorney.

Do you help with registering a company in Syria?

Yes. Company and commercial establishment registration is one of our services, alongside contract drafting, commercial arbitration and dispute resolution.

How long does a matter take?

It depends on the type of case and the court or authority involved. After reviewing your case we set out the expected steps and a realistic timeframe before any work starts, rather than quoting one figure that would not fit every file.

How do I book a consultation?

Through the consultation form on this site or on WhatsApp. The legal team reviews your request, assigns the right specialist, and then contacts you to confirm the appointment.

Is the first consultation free?

Yes. The first consultation is free; its purpose is to understand your situation and identify the right service before you commit to anything.

How does a remote consultation work?

By message, voice call or video call, whichever suits you and the nature of the file.

Can I reschedule my consultation?

Yes. Contact us on WhatsApp or through the form and we will rearrange it.
