What the service is
Aman Law is a legal platform managed from Switzerland that connects clients living outside Syria with specialist lawyers inside it. The legal work itself — a consultation, a contract, representation before a court — is carried out by a specialist lawyer, while the management organises and follows the file.
When a legal relationship begins
Sending a form or a WhatsApp message is a request for service, not an appointment of counsel. The legal relationship begins once your case has been reviewed, the file accepted and the scope of work agreed. Representation before Syrian courts and authorities additionally requires a valid power of attorney, drawn up and authenticated as required in your country of residence.
The first consultation
The first consultation is free. Its purpose is to understand your situation and identify the right service, and it does not by itself commit either side to taking the file further.
No guaranteed outcome or timeframe
We commit to professional care, not to a result. How a matter proceeds and how long it takes depend on the court or authority involved and on the circumstances of the file. No estimate of duration or outcome is a promise or a guarantee.
Accuracy of what you provide
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information and documents you give us. Incomplete or inaccurate information can change the legal assessment or stall a matter, and we are not responsible for consequences that follow from it.
Site content is not advice
Articles and guides on the blog are general information about procedures. They are not legal advice on any specific case. Do not make a decision about your own file on the basis of an article without speaking to us.
Fees
Fees are agreed before work begins, and any amount payable is set out before you confirm a request. Currency figures shown on the site are indicative only.
Appointments
You can reschedule or cancel a consultation through WhatsApp or the form on this site, and we will contact you to rearrange if the appointment cannot go ahead on our side.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us immediately if you notice unauthorised use.
Acceptable use
The site may not be used to send unlawful or misleading content, to impersonate anyone, or to attempt to disrupt the service or reach data that is not yours.
Intellectual property
The text, design and articles on this site belong to Aman Law. You may quote from them with attribution; republishing them in full requires permission.
Confidentiality
We keep what you tell us confidential, and expect the same regarding the opinions and documents we provide about your file.
Governing law
The governing law and the forum for any dispute are set out in the written agreement signed with each client, according to the nature of the service and where it is performed.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the services change, and an update takes effect from the date it is published on this page.
